For decades, I ran a sandblast, stucco, and stone veneer business where people didn’t just hire me for my hands. They trusted me for my word. Clients often said, “Jack, you don’t just do the job. You care about how it ends, how it looks, and how it feels.” That stuck with me. It still does.

After I retired from that chapter, I wasn’t done working. I was just done grinding.
